In the light of thousands of candles you dive into the Middle Ages and experience history up close. You experience a historical-culinary foray through the table manners, table customs and dishes of the Middle Ages. A unique program will accompany you through the noble meal, artists from near and far will amuse and entertain you.

It starts with a homemade honey falvored Schnaps in the castle courtyard, after the hand washing ritual follows the festive dressing in the original Rosenburg armor skirts by the busy Rosenburger tavern maids. The brief introduction to medieval table manners and customs follows. Eating true to the original only with a knife, spoon and hand.

After a sumptuous meal and an entertaining evening, groups of 6 or more can enjoy a tasting of a wide variety of medieval mead honey wines. This special sommelier event is carried out by a beekeeper and tavern host exclusively for our guests in an atmospheric ambience in the old castle kitchen.
